I am going to attend the university of alabama next year. I need some advice on what to expect and basically what is expected of any good bro when they arrive at bama. Any advice from current students or grads is doubly welcome.
If you are from the North do not attend Alabama. You will not get into a good frat. Also, hazing is serious in Greek life so make sure you pick wisely. Greek life is big down there and if you are not in a frat you will have nothing to do after football season. Bro-bin hood hood you could not be any more incorrect. Bama is full of southern bros.
yo i dont go to bama so this isnt gona be a definat thing but from my experiences at any school there are plenty of cool ass bros till chill with. good luck bro
bro, Im thinking about going to bama too, and joining a frat. I know that 70% of the school is greek life, and they fucking rage hard over there. bama is definitely a good choice
Whats up bro, I currently go to Alabama and am from DC. A lot of what DBro is true but I am not in a frat, and have plenty to do in the spring. I do Play lax there though so that gives me a good crew who are also mostly from the north. I still know a good about of guys in frats so I go to the houses especially freshman year but now I usually enjoy the bars more. Obviously football season is unreal. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I go to Alabama too and I love it man. I'm from Baltimore and come from a lax-tastic MIAA school so I was a little skeptical going to such a different environment but I couldn't be happier. I didn't do a fraternity this year (I'm a freshman) but plan to pledge next fall. In regards to an earlier post: if you are not in a fraternity, social life can be more difficult but NOT by any means impossible. I am also on the lax team (pretty sure I know who BRO.A.R is...) and organizations or teams like that will give you a good network of bros to hang with. And, like BRO.A.R. said, football season speaks for itself.
Al Cabrone: "Its a shame your GPA was not high enough to get into Auburn"
I got into UVA and UGA and even looked at Auburn too. The sad thing is, your school was so pathetically gay that I had zero interest in going there- whereas I visited Alabama and completely forgot about UVA (where my parents wanted me to go). So do me a solid, shut your fucking mouth, and just because you went to a high school in the south with an inflated GPA, you're still a pathetic, vacuous douche who goes to a lame college.
any frat that worries about people calling themselves "frats" are lame as hell...if they start preaching that shit to you young hschool bro stear clear, they are most likely a cover for a KKK group or a bunch of self sbsorbed neo-nazis (it is the south)
Hey some of you guys aon Bama lax, im up in NY and im thinking about applying there for next fall. I'd love to talk to you guys about the team and school.
