Forget Volleyball or Kadima. Play Spikeball the Next Time You're at the Beach

s1

Developed by a few chay bros out in Chicago, a new game called Spikeball is becoming big on the beaches of California, so we thought we'd let you know about it. Similar (sort of) to volleyball, Spikeball is played with two teams of two surrounding a trampoline-like net that the ball is bounced off of. Requiring extreme hand-eye coordination as well as quickness and agility, this game is non-stop action and a great workout. Players spike the ball off the net, trying to volley it past their opponents until the ball hits the ground. Points are earned when the opposing team misses, and the first team to 21 wins. Adaptable to any terrain, Spikeball is played mostly on the beach, but also works well in a park or backyard. The entire set (net, balls, and backpack) can be purchased for only $49.99 and BroBible readers get free shipping up until Dec. 23. Order a few sets and have a tournament during your next Sunday Funday. More photos and a video demo after the jump.

Spikeball is awesome. Intense, great workout, competitive as all hell. Bring it.

sick game.

Intense action...played quite a bit this past summer. Looking forward to next summer at the beach. 'Bout time the Californians caught on. Sweet game.

trips to the beach here are a lot more fun thanks to spikeball. Passers-by always willing to jump in to play. Spikeball nation is rapidly growing.

Competitive and freaking fast paced....puts that baggo/cornhole game to shame.
