Leave it to T-Pain to come up with the best new iPhone App we've seen in weeks: the I Am T-Pain Auto-Tune iPhone App. It seems to have the endorsement of every hip hop artist in America (except for Jay-Z), so how bad can it be? According to his website, "you can sing along to T-Pain's hits or create your own. You can record and share your genius with the world." A few more demo videos are after the jump.

BroBible I have mad respect for you guys, but this is just something I don’t support. It’s a cool app and T-Pain is smart for making some money off of it (I assume), but he’s fully acknowledging that it doesn’t require any singing talent at all to do what he does. The video was a nice little fuck you to Jay-Z by getting all those popular artists to play around with the app, but you could tell who didn’t need it at all when they sang (Keri Hilson). I wouldn’t be surprised if in two weeks this app becomes so popular that pre-teens and parents start using it regularly and make it the most uncool thing in the country (unless you love nothing more than seeing that). Bros should leave T-Pain and his music to the drunk girls getting down to it in the club.
Any rebuttals out there?
I mean, T-Pain has admitted Auto-Tune has gone about as far as it can go. And I am not trying to hate on a guy trying to make an easy buck. He knows he has become a joke (see “I’m on a Boat”) but as chosen to embrace it rather than quietly fading off into the graveyard of one upon a time Hip-hop artists.
Speaking from a the perspective of using this in the studio. This could be very useful for some one who needed to “auto-tune” a note or two, this is a great way to due it with out spending a grand on the proper equipment.
Also worth noting, this is from the same guys that make the actually software
