Editor's Note: I asked BroBible's new interns to write up a preview of tonight's premiere of "Michael and Michael Have Issues" on Comedy Central (10:30 p.m.). They asked who was in it, and I told them it starred two of the guys from "The State"... which they had never head of. "How is that possible?" I asked. It turns out they were 5 -- 5 years old!!! -- when the classic sketch comedy show premiered on MTV in 1993. That's beyond depressing. So I did what any good editor would do: ordered them to watch as many clips as they could find on YouTube and then write it up. Here's Schifty's take, along with the rest of tonight's TV lineup:

This week marks the long-awaited release of the DVD box set of "The State," which ran from 1993-1995 on MTV. When this show originally aired I was too young to appreciate its humor. It's funny to look back and see pieces of the "Reno 911!" cast younger and in different roles. Although not comparable to "SNL," "The State's" cast includes many familiar faces still around in the comedy world today. The box set has a bunch of extras that fans should certainly enjoy. There is one drawback: due to licensing issues the copyrighted music has been replaced with generic tracks. In today's YouTube/viral video world we often don't step back to appreciate how entertaining the sketch comedy of the '90s was.

That being said, I will certainly check out "Michael and Michael Have Issues." The two main stars, Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter, are alumni of "The State." I definitely want to see if this tag team can bring back its magic from the early 90s and make me laugh tonight.

What else is on?

HBO has two great documentaries back to back. First, "Teddy: In His Own Words," about Sen. Ted Kennedy, at 8 p.m.; and then, "Ted Williams," about the greatest baseball hitter of all time, at 9:30.

CNBC premieres its new documentary, "Porn: The Business of Pleasure," at 9 p.m., while at 10 p.m., TLC features a show called "The 650 lb. Virgin," where a man who has recently lost 400 lbs. tries to find a "mate." There is no way that show won't be entertaining. None. If you don't find fat people trying to find someone to mate with as entertaining as we do, check out "Locked Up Abroad," also at 10 p.m., on National Geography. These shows all dovetail nicely with the "21 Sexiest Beach Bars" at 11 p.m. on the Travel Channel.

Here's tonight's late-night lineup:
"Daily Show": Kathleen Sebelius
"Colbert Report": Douglas Rushkoff
"Letterman": Paul McCartney (this is his first ever appearance on Dave's show)
"Conan": Dana Carvey, Anthony Anderson, Allison Iraheta
"Kimmel": Larry King
"Ferguson": Rosie Perez, Alan Furst, Will Dailey
"Fallon": Kevin Connolly, Alexa Chung
